Natural Movement

Barefoot shoes with zero-drop, a wide toe box, and just the right amount of stretch will allow your feet to revel in newfound freedom.

Unmatched Comfort

The AdaptSol™ insole includes over 100 nodes that massage your feet and provide comfort with every step.

Flexible Traction

Lightweight and cushioned. The rubber AdaptTread™ outsole provides the ultimate traction for any adventure.

Modern shoes limit your mobility. Natural movement shoes let them move as they should—building strength, improving balance, and supporting posture. With a wide toe box and zero-drop design, they help you move freely, comfortably, and naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.

A wide toe box refers to the space at the front of a shoe, allowing the toes to align and spread naturally. This design helps reduce pressure on the toes, improving foot function and comfort. Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Adapt Runners fit small for most. We recommend sizing up a 1/2 size for the best fit. For more details, refer to our size chart for guidance on finding your perfect fit.

Machine Washable: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. If using a top-loading machine, place on top of laundry load. Let air dry, out of direct sunlight. Do not machine-dry. This will also freshen up and re-animate the interior foam. For white shoes, to preserve the color, we recommend treating the shoe with a water/stain repellent spray prior to wear. Do not use bleach.

We gladly accept returns and exchanges on unworn footwear for 30 days from the date of purchase (exceptions apply*). We reserve the right to refuse returns on worn merchandise.

To ensure that shoes are not damaged, we encourage you to try the shoes on with socks on a carpeted surface when you receive them.

*All items marked 30% OFF and all items marked CLEARANCE are strictly non-returnable—no exchanges, refunds, or gift cards. ALL apparel & accessories are non-returnable as well.

I hate that im writing this. Its like an Ex that I cant stop loving. I want to say they aren't that great because they stopped making my size(14) almost 3 YEARS AGO and I cant let go. Im actually wearing a 13 right now of the adapt trail runner and its too small but I guess im willing to put up with it than not have any.... its kind of sad and pathetic actually... I comment on every ad on IG pleading for a return of the size 14... I hope Issac sees it. No I dont! (..yes I do)

I have had my Adapt runners for 4 months and primarily use them for casual wear but I do run a 5K in them once a week. I really like the space in the toe box, the cushioning feels good, and they are good looking shoes.
I would like to give it a higher rating but the material/fabric at the back of the foot frayed much too quickly. At this price point, the material should be more durable.
My other issue is with the zero drop. I have very flat feet and I started to experience some discomfort/aches in my ankles and calves so I had to get insoles that provided arch support. I wish they would make a version for people with flat feet that offered more arch support. I don’t understand why all the foot shaped shoe companies feel the absolute need to only have zero drop. I love the space for my toes but my arches need some support

The inner lining in the back of the shoe will wear out in under 4 months and the plastic in the back of the shoe will start to scratch your heel. This has happened to 3 pairs and the company says that is normal wear and tear. Just get a shoe that last from any other company.

Shoe fits well and feels great, very comfy. I use them solely for walking almost daily.

I’ve had the shoe for just over 3 months and the inside stitching near the heel is already tearing. Really liked the shoes but they don’t seem to hold up well which is too bad because otherwise they have been great

I purchased Flux Footwear hoping their shoes would help relieve some of the chronic pain I deal with daily. After reading about the brand and seeing the claims surrounding comfort and support, I was genuinely excited to give them a try.

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. After wearing the shoes for just one day to test them, the pain in my feet became significantly worse. Since the shoes did not work for me, I contacted customer service to ask about a refund or exchange. Instead of receiving understanding or assistance, I was told the shoes showed signs of “heavy wear,” despite only being worn briefly for evaluation.

As someone living with chronic pain, finding supportive footwear is extremely important, and I was simply trying to determine whether these shoes were a good fit for my needs. I understand companies have return policies, but I expected a more compassionate and customer-focused response.

Based on my experience with both the product and customer service, I would not purchase from Flux Footwear again.

These shoes are SO CUTE!! but they hurt my feet, I’m typically a hoka girly and have been for YEARS but I seen so many reviews comparing the two and I loved how they looked so I decided to give them a shot. I wore them out for a few hours and my feet were killing me!! :( it’s such a bummer because I had really high hopes and expectations due to the reviews.

This shoe is created poorly. So expensive and such **** quality. Second pair I’ve bought and the same thing happened. Wear and tear inside the shoe that causes a metal piece to stick out and rub against your heel. Would not recommend.

I used to love the shoe. I just bought my third pair back in February. Two months in the soles are completely worn through and the shoe is unwearable ( again this is my 3rd pair)

I did reach out to the company. They claim they didn’t change their manufacturing. But something is definitely wrong for this price. The shoes should last longer than two months.

I wanted to love these shoes. Wish it had a regular padded tongue at the top. I find it a little too snug. Just beware there no way to adjust that.

I see some comments where it shows heavy wear and tear after only a year. Welp…. I had a pair of adidas for 4-5 years that were $35 that didn’t wear out this fast. I put a substantial amount of miles on my adidas and a couple half marathons.

These shoes wear out, become uncomfortable and I began experiencing knee pain because of it. They no longer are comfortable, not even as regular house shoes.

I won’t ever purchase another pair of adapt runners. The price and quality do not line up. I always thought buy once cry once… unfortunately these shoes are going to be retired

Structure on the back of shoe is broken and is digging into the back of my foot. Unable to wear

Went from buying crappy, expensive, overrated branded shoes every few months or so - to my first pair of Flux Adapt Runners lasting me just shy of a year!!
My 1st pair of Adapt Runners started wearing out heavily on the inside heel & the grips on the bottom totally smoothed out. (But NEVER got uncomfortable or cause43blasterd pain. And NEVER had me slipping/sliding all over the place.)
Walked approximately 4,775,600 steps in those shoes & never once got blisters, aches, or "my-shift-is-almost-over fatigue."
The price is 100% worth the reliability & comfort even through the end of that shoe's life.
Speedy shipment, as I ordered on a Thursday afternoon & were in my hands on Monday afternoon.

Surprising amount of support for a minimalist shoe and fantastic grip. I have arthritis in my feet and toes and the wide toe box is just what I needed. I had been wearing super cushioned thick soled sneakers (who shall remain nameless) and while comfortable I found they did all the work for my feet which became progressively weaker. I couldn’t “feel the ground” and noticed I was getting wobbly. I wore these for a three mile walk yesterday with no problems or fatigue from heavy shoes. These are a winner!

I bought three pairs of the adapt runners over the past 2 1/2 years. I do love the feel of the shoes and they are great for work. My biggest complaint is the material breaks down so easily in the back of the heel. I’ve had to buy three pairs because the heel wears down and sharp plastic comes through the material. I’ve never had this issue with any other shoe and for the price of the shoes I would expect the material to last longer than six months. I do not run in these. I only wear them for my work shifts which includes standing and maybe walking 1-3 miles a day.

I want to love these shoes, but for the cost, the material needs to have a longer life span.

Me recomendaron estos Flux porque tengo pie plano. Flat fleet. Y me gustaron mucho. El dolor a mejorado mucho. Se los recomiendo para los que tenemos dolor en el talón or heel. O plantar fasciitis

Snug and supportive in the right places. Don't crush my toes. There was no break-in period. I took these for a 30 minute jog right out of the box and no blisters.

I can’t say enough good things about these shoes! After 6 months of consistent wear, I still love them. I’ve thrown them in the wash twice, and each time, they came out looking brand new (see photo). They took no time to break in, and they’re comfortable all day. Some people say to size up, but my normal size was perfect. I have bunions and knee problems, and these shoes provide comfort for both. I use them for everyday life and at the gym. Highly recommend if you’re on the fence!

I recently purchased the adapt runner to use in the gym and on my dog walk. They are mostly comfortable, I wish there was more space on the top of the total. The pressure coming down on my toenail is noticeable. And yes, I keep them very trim. I normally wear size 10, I was fortunate to be able to order 10 1/2. 11s would be too big and slip off. It's one of the downfalls of big feet. For the arch support and the wide toe box, these are great.
