Built For Long Days

Stay comfortable through 12-hour shifts and nonstop schedules. The zero-drop sole, wide toe box, and AdaptSol™ insole move with your foot for natural alignment and long-lasting support.

Advanced Spill Protection

Coated with H2O Pro technology—a repellent that forms a breathable barrier to repel water, block stains, and handle everyday messes without sacrificing comfort.

Slip-Resistant Traction

Precision-lugged rubber outsole delivers secure, multidirectional grip across slick, wet, or high-traffic surfaces—helping you stay grounded and confident, step after step.

Modern shoes limit your mobility. Natural movement shoes let them move as they should—building strength, improving balance, and supporting posture. With a wide toe box and zero-drop design, they help you move freely, comfortably, and naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.

H2O Pro is a PFC-free treatment that creates a protective barrier on fabric. It repels water and water-based stains, helping materials resist moisture and mess—without sacrificing breathability or comfort.

A wide toe box refers to the space at the front of a shoe, allowing the toes to align and spread naturally. This design helps reduce pressure on the toes, improving foot function and comfort. Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Zero-drop means the heel and toe of the shoe are level, promoting a more natural foot position and stride.

Adapt Runner H2O Pro's fit small for most. We recommend sizing up a 1/2 size for the best fit. For more details, refer to our size chart for guidance on finding your perfect fit.

  • Blot the Spill Immediately - Use a clean, dry cloth or paper towel to gently blot the area. (Don’t rub!)
  • Wipe Away Residue - Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe
    off any leftover residue.
  • Air Dry - Let the shoe dry at room temperature.

Spot Cleaning: Using water, mild soap, and a soft bristled brush or microfiber cloth, focus on the particularly dirty areas (outsole or on the shoe). Do not use bleach. Do not machine wash.

We gladly accept returns and exchanges on unworn footwear for 30 days from the date of purchase (exceptions apply*). We reserve the right to refuse returns on worn merchandise.

To ensure that shoes are not damaged, we encourage you to try the shoes on with socks on a carpeted surface when you receive them.

Official! These are my 4th pair! 👍🏽💪🏽👍🏽

Far and beyond the most comfortable and most durable shoes that I've ever purchased.
Like many, I inappropriately wear sneakers all day everyday. I have tried the best from all of the other brands and generally before the 6 month mark, they are in a state that is no longer wearable in public.

The Adapt Runners at 9 months? Exhibiting signs of wear but plenty of life remaining. These will likely pass the 1 year mark or more.

I cannot overstate enough how fantastic these are for those of us doing 10k steps a day while wanting to be comfortable. Buy these.

Great shoes. Took me 2 days to get used to them but my go to shoes right now

These are one of my favorite shoes to wear. I know it isn’t “water-proof” but I walked through dewy short grass and my socks were drenched. So I don’t know that the water repellent tech works that well. The toe of my shoe is also easily stained but I did get the white ones

I was hesitant to buy these shoes because I didn’t know if they would stand me dancing for one hour with them. I am not a runner. My purpose for buying these shoes was to use them at Zumba class. I will skeptical, but they did last, and they made me. I want to buy the pink on next.

Great find and HSA approved! All day comfort to help with heel and high arch pain. Go on and off like a flexible sock. The blue node insert is very nice, unlike most brands to throw out or replace. Wear with or without socks. Good grip, material, and no break in period needed. I recommended to order 1/2 size or 1 size up with socks.

My favorite shoes I’ve ever had, very light extremely comfortable. Feet feel great after my 12 even 16 hour shifts in the emergency department or my runs of 5+ miles. I originally wore the Nike invincible 3 wide which I loved but they discontinued. I bounced around shoes for a bit and found I really enjoyed the oncloud cloudsurfer max wide. Eventually I wore those out and needed to find a new pair of shoe and thought I’d try more of a barefoot style. I tried the stand+ antigrav1 and my feet felt fine end of shift but they made my foot too hot so I wanted to try another. One day I was scrolling on instagram and saw the flux shoes and figured I’d give them a shot. My favorite shoe I’ve worn I will be a customer for years to come. Absolutely recommend and will be recommending to friends family and co workers

This was my go to shoe for work I’ve bought at least 10 pairs. I work in roofing so the grip was amazing and the shoes were waterproof. I could walk in a few inches of water and not a single drop would get through. When they updated it with the H2OPro not only is the water proof junk now but also the shoes stretches fast. And not as comfortable as the water proof ones. Looks like I have to find a new work shoe

Helped with my lower back pain, now I’m able to tolerate my 1-2 mile walks with my dog. I bought another pair as soon as this arrived. The wide foot and zero drop helps so much. Shoes runs small I would get half size up.

Having toe drop due to Charcot Marie Tooth, and also a full time Nurse, I would get tired and my shoe would stick to the floor and I was falling frequently! These shoes are amazing!! No falls since wearing them!

Highly recommend!

These are comfortable and so cute for a zero drop barefoot or wide toebox shoe! My friends couldn’t tell they were wide toebox and really want them too!

my least favorite style

I will start off by saying I LOVE the other styles of Flux shoes. I have the trail runners, trainers and adapt runner (2 pair). I ordered these because it said they were non slip, I work in food service so its a requirement to have non slip. I got SO excited now that my favorite shoe is now non slip and I don't have to find something else I like. These say non slip but they are in no way, shape or form made for foodservice, I might as well be wearing my regular runners. They are also way smaller sizing. I ordered my normal runner sizing but returned them for a .5 size bigger but I honestly should have gone up a full size. I wanted to love these and wear Flux all the time. I will still wear my others but im back on the hunt for better non slip. Aslo, shout out to the amazing customer service team, they are always very helpful!

One of the Worst Shoes I’ve Ever Had

I hate being a Karen but these are hands down the worst shoes I have ever had. I know they are dirty in the pictures but I’ve had these shoes for about 6 months. They claim they are a wider shoe and yes the toe box is a bit wider but that’s it, honestly I think the toe box looks wider because of how tight/narrow the rest of the shoe is. After about a month of having them the bottom sole started to separate and within the last month or so the heels on the inside have worn out. I will say however the water proofing is water proof as they come which was a big selling point for me wearing them on duty. With that being said for every ounce of water they keep out they keep moisture and smell in. On another note they squeak like something I’ve never heard and I thought to myself it’s just a new shoe it’ll wear out… it hasn’t

So comfy!

This shoe is so comfortable and as a healthcare worker I love that it is waterproof! Would love to see it available in more colors again though!

Do Not Recommend

After trying the Adapt Trainers I was excited to switch my everyday work shoe for healthcare to the Adapt Runners. Unfortunately my liking for the trainers didn’t transfer to the runners. These are stiff and firm shoes. They lack any feel for your feet while you are walking and the firmness while standing for long hours left my heels feeling sore. I would not recommend and I won’t be buying the runners again. The annoying part is that you can’t return these once you have worn them, so now I’m stuck with $140 shoes that I don’t enjoy wearing.

Also, they may be waterproof but any little slight dust/smudge on the shoe stays and shows. So they looked new for about a day before they were all dirty. Flawed design.

Great shoe not so good for water resistance

I’m not the one to leave negative reviews since I love the way my feet feel in flux sneaker H2O pro. Great shoe and very comfortable right out of the box. I wore it for entire day and my feet loved it. I would give it 5 stars as these sneakers are comfortable except for the fact that its not as fluid or water resistant as advertised. It absorbs absolutely every liquid and stains. H2O and fluid resistant something Flux brand could improve on for sure. FYI I work in a dental field and do deal with lots of water and blood and I am on my feet alot. Comfort wise all 5 starts, fluid or water resistance 3 stars max.
