Unrestrictive Design

Move freely with a zero-drop sole, and our widest toe-box yet. Designed to improve balance, strength, and agility.

Unmatched Comfort

The AdaptSol™ insole includes over 100 nodes that massage your feet and provide comfort with every step.

Step Into Comfort

A durable knit upper stretches and breathes, while the flexible sole and massaging insole keep feet comfy and fresh.

Modern shoes limit your mobility. Natural movement shoes let them move as they should—building strength, improving balance, and supporting posture. With a wide toe box and zero-drop design, they help you move freely, comfortably, and naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.

A wide toe box refers to the space at the front of a shoe, allowing the toes to align and spread naturally. This design helps reduce pressure on the toes, improving foot function and comfort. Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Zero-drop means the heel and toe of the shoe are level, promoting a more natural foot position and stride.

Adapt Knit Trainers fit small for most. We recommend sizing up a 1/2 size for the best fit. For more details, refer to our size chart for guidance on finding your perfect fit.

Spot Cleaning: Using water, mild soap, and a soft bristled brush or microfiber cloth, focus on the particularly dirty areas (outsole or on the shoe). Do not use bleach.

Machine Washable: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. If using a top-loading machine, place on top of laundry load. Let air dry, out of direct sunlight. Do not machine-dry. This will also freshen up and re-animate the interior foam. For white shoes, to preserve the color, we recommend treating the shoe with a water/stain repellent spray prior to wear. Do not use bleach.

We gladly accept returns and exchanges on unworn footwear for 30 days from the date of purchase (exceptions apply*). We reserve the right to refuse returns on worn merchandise.

To ensure that shoes are not damaged, we encourage you to try the shoes on with socks on a carpeted surface when you receive them.

*All items marked 30% OFF and all items marked CLEARANCE are strictly non-returnable—no exchanges, refunds, or gift cards. ALL apparel & accessories are non-returnable as well.

I had these shoes for less than a year when the inside started ripping. And you can't even replace the sole in the shoe because it's sown in. When I tried to let Flux know, I was just outside the 1yr warranty. They told me I was out of luck. Shoes priced at $135 should NOT be in this condition from normal everyday wear. I don't even lift in them. I just wear them out running errands and whatnot.

I love this shoe. I have become obsessed with the natural foot feel of the Flux footwear brand. I have purchased 5 pair of the adapt runners. Now I have branched out and ordered their Adapt Knit Trainers. The shoe looks, fits and feels good. I can wear it to the gym or out on the town. I highly recommend the Adapt Knit Trainer.

I liked the previous model more

These shoes are comfortable and have incredible toe space. They aren’t as “squishy” as the runners but still provide plenty of comfort and it’s nice to have a different style to choose from day to day!

The Adapt Knit Trainer has been very comfortable so far. I have not had them for long yet so will see how they hold up, but right off the bat I can say they are very comfortable and classy while still being casual.

Bought these Flux barefoot trainers and three days later took them straight to Disney like a psychopath. 16 hours a day, thousands of steps, zero blisters, zero foot pain, (okay at the veryyyy end of the day but not from the shoes) and somehow my feet felt better at the end of the trip than at the beginning.

At this point I’m convinced these shoes were developed by NASA or hobbits.

Comfy and breathable. But glue along sidewalls could be better

Comfortable for a all day walk shoes. Supper impressed!

The new model definitely look like clown shoes on me. Also, this shoe rubs the widest outside part of my foot but has plenty of room in the toes? Unfortunately will be returning! I’ll stick with the adapt runners moving forward.

I notice that your ads that I have been receiving since purchasing never mention the part about grounding in it…..don’t miss a big chunk of possible buyers. The market is out there waiting. That is how I came across your company in the first place. I was actively searching the topic.

Love these shoes. Beyond **** they discontinued the pink. I got compliments everywhere I went. I keep waiting for them to bring the pink back… I guess I’m stuck being ****.

This is my second pair of the adopt knit trainers, my previous pair I have been wearing for the past 3 years. I absoulely love the comfort and style for day to day use. I am an administrator for a high school and put a lot of miles on my feet each day and these shoes are amazing for that day to day grind!

I’ve dealt with right foot pain for years and usually need inserts to stay comfortable. I was gifted the Adapt Knit Trainers for my birthday and have loved them this past month. On the days I wear them, I don’t end the day with pain — which is huge for me. They’re lightweight, supportive, and incredibly comfortable. I’ll definitely be buying more. Highly recommend!

This is my second pair. I bought them after loving the first pair, but this second pair seems like a totally different shoe. It is very narrow at the mid foot and the insole isn’t as comfortable. Additionally, I noticed the sole is cracking after only 6 months.

Totally comfortable. It feels likeI am getting a foot massage with every step I take.

The Flux Adapt Knit Trainers are okay overall. They’re lightweight and flexible, and the knit upper is comfortable, but I was hoping for more cushioning. Since I’m on my feet most of the day, they didn’t provide quite enough support or shock absorption for long hours of standing. Better for short wear than all-day comfort.

Did exactly what u expected which was way more than advertised! I have been wearing Flux for a few years now and was on a mission to find a shoe that I could do three things with while traveling in Europe: 1) lift weights in the morning 2) walk long distances while exploring 3) shoes that look good with a cute pair of jeans. These did exactly that for me. I was left with no foot pain after many miles of walking and my lifts felt amazing. One last bonus is they made packing easy and I will certainly be bringing them on every trip with me. Thanks for making the perfect shoe Flux… again!

On a serious note, I got my normal size 8 and they felt great.

Love my AKT’s BUT…
What happened to my size?
I don’t see my 13’s!
Big boys NEED the AKT’s too, you know.
Thank you

2nd most comfortable shoe I have worn only to the runners. I am on my feet daily from 7am to about 6-8pm. I needed something that keeps me from getting home and just needing to be off my feet. The trainer (and runner) are it.

Old ones were much better

A it too tight now for me.

I am not sure whe the form and design were changed. This new version looks cheaper compared to previous model
Quality is good, it'sjust the loosk. This model just doesn't have that compact look of previous model.

And at the same time they discontinued full black colour?! Why remove the classic 'all black' ?

Anyway, I was big fan of Adapt Knit Trainer but seems I will lose my favourite shoe

AVOID THIS COMPANY! $13 TO RETURN!

Ok, so these felt like walking on the actual floor. There is zer cushion or support, and have no idea why these are marketed for exercise, you'd be better off in your bare feet.

I went to return these, and 1. you have to submit photos?? and 2. They charge you $13 to return shoes.

I won't be shopping here ever again, this was an awful experience. If Flux doesn't like people returning shoes, they should probably be in a different business.

DO NOT BUY.
