Modern shoes limit your mobility. Natural movement shoes let them move as they should—building strength, improving balance, and supporting posture. With a wide toe box and zero-drop design, they help you move freely, comfortably, and naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.

A wide toe box refers to the space at the front of a shoe, allowing the toes to align and spread naturally. This design helps reduce pressure on the toes, improving foot function and comfort. Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Zero-drop means the heel and toe of the shoe are level, promoting a more natural foot position and stride.

Adapt Trail Runners fit small for most. We recommend sizing up a 1/2 size for the best fit. For more details, refer to our size chart for guidance on finding your perfect fit.

Spot Cleaning: Using water, mild soap, and a soft bristled brush or microfiber cloth, focus on the particularly dirty areas (outsole or on the shoe). Do not use bleach. Do not machine wash.

I receive the footwear out of the box they looked the part. For the most part they were comfortable. However, being a trainer and on my feet most of the day the perforated insloe began to rubbing a blister on the forefoot of my foot. OVERALL the shoe is made well structurally but there's No cushion at all when running on trails. Felt like with every stride foot was pounding the trail. Concecpt is good but more cushion going forward will be need. Also my email for a refund has no tbeen answered. Sorry for the subpar review Coach LJ

These are THE BEST shoes I have ever worn! I have tried so many shoes to get through my 12 hour shifts on my feet, and these are amazing! There is enough room for my wide feet. I did order up a size, like recommended and the fit is fantastic. I do wear socks while at work and I haven't been able to wear when not working because of the snow. I ordered 2 pair so one can stay and work and one can be for everyday. The insole is amazing and like a tiny massage while walking. I have been telling all my coworkers to get a pair because they are so great!!

I tested a size 12.5 women from Amazon but since they only had the dark gray I ordered a full size larger from Flux. Since I used the government discount the website said Icouldn't return. SO, I took a short walk and my second toe had pressure from the top reinforced toe and now that nail is turning dark.

Great Trail Shoe

Love these trail runners so much I have three pairs now. Great customer service for size exchanges as well! Usually true to size, but with national park series has to go up a 1/2 size.

AMAZING

Since trying the Adapt Trail Runner, I haven't put any other shoes on my feet. I work long hours on my feet in a medical setting and these shoes help alleviate my hip/back discomfort and I never have achy feet at the end of the shift.
I have both the white/coconut color and the Zions. The color holds really well.

These Flux shoes are my very first pair and I’m loving them. I was a little hesitant at first, but now that they’re broken in I can see how comfortable they really are. The fit is great and they’re so easy to wear all day. I’ll definitely be purchasing another pair.

I like the fit but you should order two sizes up in a size 9.5 in all other fit shoe with flux I had to order 10.5 but should have done size 11 my first pair the left shoe squeaked and on this pair both squeak and the bottom of the shoes leave black prints in the house if they get wet. I won't buy again

I loved these shoes! Wore them all the way out, they were the best all around shoe I have ever had. Worn for running, then turned in to the daily go to. And the grounding is legit. Don’t believe me? Wear them with no socks while pushing a cart at Costco, you will get zapped from the grounding effect over and over again. Buying a new pair now, thanks for making a dam good pair of shoes.

Just as I suspected it is my most comfortable hiking shoe I've ever worn, Flux is already my most favorite every day shoe, so much so I own 6 pairs currently in rotation (4 different colors and 2 pairs of white) so when I needed a new pair of hiking shoes it was an easy decision. I love how supportive they feel without my toes feeling cramped, and as someone with EDS I appreciate that the soles aren't super thick like so many brands are doing, as I am very prone to rolling my ankles.

I’m a true size 12 in Nike, Adidas, and Vans. I ordered a 12.5 since the listing said to size up half a size, but these ended up feeling almost a full size too big. On top of that, they arrived creased. As a sneakerhead, I get that pairs are sometimes tried on in-store, but I usually swap them for ones that haven’t been walked around. Not a huge deal, but with everything combined, I’m taking off three stars.
